Speed Dial 2 Has Changed - Can't See My Groups at the Top

TL;DR Speed Dial 2 now uses Compact layout by default. To see your groups at the top, go to Preferences > General and change Layout to Standard.

What changed?

Speed Dial 2 recently updated to use Compact layout as the default. In Compact layout, your groups appear in a dropdown menu on the left side instead of as tabs across the top of the page.

This change gives you more vertical space for your bookmarks, especially on smaller screens.

How to switch back to the old layout

If you prefer seeing your groups as tabs at the top (the previous default), you can switch to Standard layout:

1. Click the gear icon to open Preferences
2. Go to the General tab
3. Find the Compact Layout setting
4. Toggle it off

Your groups will now appear as tabs across the top of the page, just like before.

• Groups appear in a dropdown menu on the left
• More vertical space for bookmarks
• Better for many groups or smaller screens

Standard layout (previous default):

• Groups appear as tabs at the top
• Quick one-click switching between groups
• All groups visible at a glance
