Speed Dial 2 for Firefox

TL;DR Install from Firefox Add-ons. Grant permissions for thumbnails and set as start page if desired.

Installing in Firefox

1. Visit Firefox Add-ons
2. Click "Add to Firefox"
3. Click "Add" in the popup
4. Open a new tab to see Speed Dial 2!

Setting as start page

Watch the video above, or follow these steps:

1. Open a new tab to see Speed Dial 2
2. Click the Star icon in the address bar to bookmark the page
3. Save the bookmark as "Speed Dial 2 New Tab"
4. Go to Firefox menu > Settings
5. Click "Home" in the sidebar
6. Under "Homepage and new windows", select "Use Bookmark..."
7. Choose Bookmarks Toolbar > Speed Dial 2 New Tab

Now Speed Dial 2 will open every time you start Firefox or click the Home button.

Enabling thumbnail capture

Firefox requires additional permissions for Speed Dial 2 to capture page screenshots:

1. Enter about:addons in your address bar
2. Find Speed Dial 2 and click on it
3. Go to the Permissions tab
4. Enable "Access your data for all websites"
5. Also enable "Run in Private Windows" if you want thumbnails from private browsing

Note: These permissions are only used for capturing thumbnails. Speed Dial 2 never collects or shares your browsing data.
