Speed Dial 2 for Edge

TL;DR Install from the Edge Add-ons store. If Edge disables it after updates, re-enable it in Extensions settings.

Installing Speed Dial 2

1. Visit the Edge Add-ons Store
2. Click "Get"
3. Click "Add extension" in the popup
4. Open a new tab to see Speed Dial 2!

Speed Dial 2 doesn't show up or is disabled

Microsoft Edge sometimes disables Speed Dial 2 after browser updates. This happens because Speed Dial 2 replaces the default new tab page.

To re-enable Speed Dial 2:

1. Click the ... menu in the top right corner
2. Select "Extensions"
3. Click "Manage extensions"
4. Find Speed Dial 2 in the list
5. Toggle the switch to On

Note: If this happens frequently after Edge updates, you may want to consider using Chrome or Firefox where extensions are not automatically disabled.

Pinning to the toolbar

For quick access to the extension popup:

1. Click the puzzle icon in your toolbar
2. Find Speed Dial 2
3. Click the eye icon to show it in the toolbar

Setting as homepage

1. Go to Edge Settings > Start, home, and new tabs
2. Under "When Edge starts", select "Open a new tab"
