Themes and Backgrounds

TL;DR Open Preferences > Themes to choose from built-in backgrounds, or upload your own custom image with Pro.

Choosing a theme

1. Open Preferences (click the gear icon)
2. Go to the Themes section
3. Browse the available backgrounds
4. Click any theme to apply it instantly

Speed Dial 2 includes free themes for everyone, plus 66+ premium themes for Pro users.

Light and Dark mode

Speed Dial 2 supports both light and dark themes:

• Auto – Follows your system's light/dark preference
• Light – Always use light theme
• Dark – Always use dark theme

Pro Tip: You can set different backgrounds and colors for light and dark mode.

Background settings

Fine-tune how your background appears:

• Size – Original, Contain (fit entire image), or Cover (fill the screen)
• Position – Choose where to anchor the image (center, top-left, etc.)
• Opacity – Adjust from 10% to 100% for subtle or bold

Solid color background

Prefer a clean, minimal look? In Preferences > Themes, click Background color to use a solid color instead of an image.

Custom backgrounds (Pro)

Upload your own images:

1. Go to Preferences > Themes
2. Click "Upload custom background"
3. Select an image from your computer (max 2MB)

Note: For best results, use high-resolution images (at least 1920x1080 pixels).
