Backing up & Exporting your data

TL;DR Export your data anytime in Preferences > System. Pro users get automatic daily backups with restore.

Exporting your data

Anyone can export their Speed Dial 2 data:

1. Go to Preferences > System
2. Click "Export"
3. A JSON file downloads containing all your bookmarks, groups, and settings

Pro Tip: Export your data regularly as a safety backup, especially before making big changes, or upgrade to Pro for automatic daily backups.

Importing data

1. Go to Preferences > System
2. Click "Import"
3. Select your backup JSON file
4. Confirm the import

Note: Importing will replace all your current bookmarks and settings. Export first if you want to keep your current data.

Automatic backups (Pro)

Pro users get automatic cloud backups:

• Backups are created automatically every 24 hours
• Multiple backup versions are retained
• View and download backups in Preferences > System

Restoring from a backup (Pro)

1. Go to Preferences > System
2. Find the Backups section
3. Click on the backup you want to restore
4. Confirm the restoration
