Speed Dial 2 Migration

The latest version of Speed Dial 2 for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge includes a migration process that must be completed to preserve your Speed Dial 2 bookmarks. Please note that this step is necessary; otherwise, future updates to your browser may result in the loss of your Speed Dial 2 bookmarks and settings.

The migration process is a one-time process that will move your data from the old storage to the new one. It is a simple process that should take less than a minute to complete. You can learn more about why this is required and how to resolve any issues below.

Why is it required?

The reason behind this decision is that both Google Chrome and MS Edge will no longer support WebSQL, the data storage system that Speed Dial 2 has relied on for many years. Unfortunately, this means that we need to transfer your data to a different type of storage as WebSQL will no longer be available in the near future.
